Strategic Planning

A strategic plan is only as good as the process that created it. If your team didn't shape it, the won't own it. If it's not grounded in real data, it won't survive contact with reality.

Board Governance & Development

Strong boards are built, not inherited. I help boards clarify their role, strengthen their culture, and become genuine partners to organizational leadership — not a rubber stamp or a crisis committee.

This work includes governance assessments, board retreats, committee restructuring, and ongoing coaching for executive directors and board chairs navigating a complicated relationship. Often pairs naturally with an Infrastructure Review when bylaws and committee structure need to evolve together.

Organizational Infrastructure Review

Growing organizations often hit a wall — not because their mission is unclear, but because their operations haven't kept pace. Bylaws written in 2008 don't fit a $2M organization in 2025. Policies that lived in one person's head become liabilities when that person leaves.

An Organizational Infrastructure Review is a structured, top-to-bottom inventory of the documents, policies, and operating systems that hold your organization together. I assess what exists, what's missing, what's outdated, and what's creating risk — then work with your team to build or update the infrastructure that lets your programs and people thrive.

Sometimes you don't need a consultant. You need a skilled neutral who can hold the room and help your team reach genuine agreement.

I'm a trained Peacemaking Circle facilitator and practitioner of Appreciative Inquiry. I design and facilitate strategic retreats, difficult organizational conversations, team development sessions, and community engagement processes — for groups of any size, in person or hybrid.
